Join the Deal Fire Company #2 and Point Pleasant Distributors at the 29th annual Run Thru Deal 5K race in the beautiful seashore town of Deal, New Jersey. This is more than a race, this is a event.

2010 Men's overall 5K winner: Greg Kuczynski of Saryville in a time of 15:38.
2010 Women's overall 5K winner: Amber Hart of Belmar in a time of 18:56.
Both Greg and Amber won the event in 2009 with very similar times.
Last year we were able to raise over $3,000 for Interfaith Neighbors. Interfaith Neighbors, Inc. is a non-profit corporation founded in May 1988 that is headquartered in Asbury Park NJ. Its supporting members number more than 90 religious congregations of varying denominations.
Their mission is to provide rental subsidy to underprivileged persons; to provide meals either in a congregate setting or delivered to the homes of people who are either elderly poor (senior citizen), infirm or seriously ill persons or those who are classified as impoverished; to encourage support and undertake construction and rehabilitation of affordable housing units and other facilities for underprivileged and homeless persons with low incomes and generally to support the needs of underprivileged persons.
